PCCC* – Salzburg-Edition - ABGESAGT

Leider muss die dritte Salzburger Ausgabe des PCCC* am 29. Jänner im Rahmen des MotzART FESTIVALs ersatzlos abgesagt werden. Wir arbeiten aber bereits an einer Neuauflage zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt.

„Kicking-up, statt punching-down" ist das Credo von PCCC* – Vienna's First Queer Comedy Club. Immer mit einem Themenschwerpunkt versehen, bringt PCCC* Performer*innen auf die Bühne, die Witze jenseits von Zuschreibungen und Ausschlüssen erzählen. Die Performer*innen vereint das Grundverständnis, dass Humor ein politisches Werkzeug ist, das zu gesellschaftlichen Veränderungen beiträgt. Humor, so wie ihn PCCC* etabliert hat, deckt sehr schnell auf, wer aus welcher Position heraus über wen Witze machen kann.

Durch den Abend führt PCCC*-Mitgründerin Denice Bourbon, Comedian, Performerin, politische Aktivistin und wesentlicher Bestandteil von Wiens (queerer) Performanceszene. Die Beiträge der Performenden sind auf Deutsch oder Englisch. Seit 2020 ist die PCCC* – Salzburg-Edition fixer Bestandteil im MotzART FESTIVAL-Programm.

What does the word ‚Holiday‘ mean to you?
Is it a trip to a beautiful beach or is it celebrating a cultural/religious day with your loved ones?
Holidays can be so many things. When we dream of them, we usually do it with a warm positive feeling, and still we so often find ourselves either lonely in Paris missing our friends, or fighting with our problematic uncles about, well, just any topic really.
A Holiday means to take a break, but what if you need to take that break from yourself?
Where the hell do you go then?
(Some would say; „just order some legal psychedelic truffles from Amsterdam!“)

Meet the fantastic Comedians from PCCC* and hear them share their stories of romantic dreams of the open roads turning into highways to hell, how 200 lesbians on a greek island could turn more sappy than sapphic, and how to survive a family feast without unleashing the beast.
