AFRO FUSION

Afro Fusion verbindet verschiedene afrodiasporische Tanzstile zu einem ausdrucksstarken Ganzen. In diesem Workshop stehen Choreografie, Übergänge und Bühnenpräsenz im Mittelpunkt. Technik und Emotion werden miteinander verbunden, sodass Bewegung bewusst und kraftvoll wirkt. Der Kurs ist offen für alle Levels und stärkt sowohl individuellen Ausdruck als auch das Zusammenspiel in der Gruppe. Afro Fusion schafft Raum, unterschiedliche Einflüsse zu verbinden und dabei authentisch zu bleiben.

Etonam Sabine Voule, bekannt als Afrogyal, ist eine professionelle Afro- und Dancehall-Tänzerin, Choreografin und Dozentin mit Sitz in München. Sie tanzt seit ihrem fünften Lebensjahr und verbindet in ihrem Stil verschiedene afrikanische Tanzrichtungen wie Afrohouse, Amapiano, Azonto und Dancehall.
Seit 2018 gibt Afrogyal regelmäßig Kurse in München und leitet Workshops in ganz Deutschland und Europa. Als preisgekrönte Battle-Tänzerin – unter anderem Bavarian Dancehall Queen 2018 und Germany Dancehall Queen 2019 – vermittelt sie ihren Schüler*innen nicht nur Technik, sondern auch Kultur, Ausdruck und Attitude.
Ihre Workshops schaffen einen Raum, in dem Tänzer*innen wachsen, sich mit der Musik verbinden und die Vielfalt der afrodiasporischen Tanzkultur entdecken können. Offen für alle Levels lernen die Teilnehmer*innen Grooves, Footwork und Kombinationen aus verschiedenen Afro-Styles, mit besonderem Augenmerk auf Musikalität, Körperkontrolle und Ausdruck.

It’s about connecting technique with emotion and learning how to move with intention. Open to all levels, the class supports both individual expression and group dynamics. Afro Fusion encourages you to explore different influences while staying true to your own movement.

Etonam Sabine Voule, known as Afrogyal, is a professional Afro and Dancehall dancer, choreographer, and instructor based in Munich. Dancing since the age of five, her style blends various African dance influences such as Afrohouse, Amapiano, Azonto, and Dancehall.
Since 2018, Afrogyal has been teaching regular classes in Munich and giving workshops across Germany and Europe. As an award-winning battle dancer – including Bavarian Dancehall Queen 2018 and Germany Dancehall Queen 2019 – she brings not only technique but also culture, expression, and attitude to her classes.
Her workshops focus on energy, musicality, precision, and empowerment, creating a space where dancers can grow, connect with the music, and explore the richness of Afro dance culture.
Open to all levels, participants will learn grooves, footwork and combinations inspired by different Afro styles while focusing on musicality, body control and expression.
